Bellarine and Swan Bay Team Manager Adam experienced a heartwarming act of generosity on Christmas Eve while shopping for snacks and treats for his paramedic colleagues working over the holiday.
While at a local supermarket, an unknown man paid for the groceries at the self-serve checkout, insisting on covering the cost.
The man paid with his bank card and left without giving his name or seeking any acknowledgment.
“These treats were for our paramedics working Christmas Eve night shift and Christmas Day,” Adam said.
“Obviously, this isn’t something we expect but was very much appreciated. His generosity brought some extra cheer to the team, who have been working so hard during this time.”
The identity of the good Samaritan remains unknown, but his selfless act didn’t go unnoticed, embodying the spirit of Christmas and community.
